Architects have an important role in addressing Climate Change. This session will review how one California AIA Firm is addressing the link between architectural design and climate change issues throughout their practice.
LPA, a California based integrated design firm, will provide insights into how the firm uses the AIA 2030 Commitment as a transformative tool to influence design practice and reduce predicted carbon emissions. LPA is the largest firm whose AIA 2030 Commitment portfolio exceeded the 70% pEUI reduction target for 2019. LPA will share their approach to professional development and knowledge sharing, promoting a firm culture that strives for high performance buildings and design excellence.
