The presentation addresses the health of property owners’ mental health wellbeing by creating a hardened asset to resist a wildfire assault. It is mentally devastating for a property owner to lose all their physical assets from a fire event. This presentation brings awareness as to how an asset can resist this devastation. Safety considerations are considered by selecting appropriate building elements to resist fire. By providing these features, occupants will have availability to safely evacuate the structure with more time. The welfare of occupants is enhanced by the survival of the community after a conflagration. Assuring a community can survive an event will provide a peace of mind to the community core and allow for continuation to foster a neighborhood cohesiveness.
