ArchiLOGIX is a small firm and Job Captain candidates must have flexibility and versatility in working on diverse project types.
Description:
Plans and coordinates activities of designated projects with responsibility for early design graphics and presentation exhibits, research, code compliance and ArchiCAD drafting. Works directly with the Project Manager under general supervision of the Principal of Design.
Minimum Requirements:
5-7 years of technical experience in design aspects of projects, drafting, research and code analysis, presentation graphics. Assist in project management duties and provide support to Principals and Project Managers. Represent ArchiLOGIX in a professional manner in all aspects of job responsibilities and client interface. Position requires open and proactive communication with all members of ArchiLOGIX team.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills
Proficient in ArchiCAD as well as AutoCAD
Proficient with MS Office
Familiarity with other design software such as Photoshop, Sketch-up etc. preferred.
Must have skills to analyze multiple complex problems and implement technical and creative solutions.
Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills as well as the desire and ability to work with project teams.
Must be proficient in organizational skills.
Must have an in-depth knowledge of codes, basic construction methods and detailing.
Must have knowledge of project technical specifications and general conditions.
Must understand and be able to develop a full set of construction documents.
Must have a valid California driver’s license.
Physical Demands
Must be able to visit worksites.
Must be able to work in all outdoor and weather conditions.
Requires the use of hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hand and arms, talk, and hear.
Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit.
Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, risk of electrical shock, rise of radiation and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Vacation: 4th year to 10th Anniversary: 15 days/year (10 hours/month)
Sick Time: 5 days annually
Holidays: 9 days for calendar year Specific holidays are evaluated on an annual basis.
Initial Period: N/A
Continuing Ed: $500 annual budget for professional growth to be mutually agreed upon by employee and Principals
