On March 6, I will join hundreds of fellow AIA leaders from around the country to meet with our Members of Congress as part of AIA Capitol Hill Day in Washington DC.  We’ll be asking Congress to address two major issues: school safety and sustainability, and we need you to amplify our message.

On Wednesday morning you will be emailed a link to the AIA Virtual Capitol Hill Day portal, this exciting new tool will allow you to review the issues and quickly send a message to your Representatives and Senators via email or Twitter from your computer, tablet, or mobile phone.

I encourage you to take action on March 6 while I am on the Hill, doing so will help me and others to show the widespread support for these issues. It will also show Congress that architects are a powerful force in their district and our state.

Mark your calendars and encourage your friends and colleagues to participate too! Every voice matters, and Virtual Capitol Hill Day is one of the ways that you can make your voice heard!

As always, thank you for your efforts!

Peter Levelle, AIA
