About Alexis Persinger

Mr. Persinger is an experienced public education architect with a vast and varied portfolio of institutional and commercial design and construction. He is adept at conceptual phase programming and design as well as construction management.

Besides his masters in architecture Mr. Persinger also has a degree in economics. His understanding of economics along with his experience renovating his pervious house on a low budget has been invaluable to many of our clients. His extensive knowledge in value engineering has helped Persinger Architects complete almost all our projects within budget.

As an early adopter of sustainable design he has been promoting green principles for more than a decade. Persinger is part of the global green design and architecture movement and practices what he designs for his clients. His firm is headquartered in a newly constructed “sustainable office” part of a 10 acre biodynamic farm in western Sonoma County. 18KW of photovoltaic solar panels provide 100% of the power needs for the office and farm.

Alexis Presinger acted as Principal in Charge and Project Architect for the following projects Salmon Creek Falls Multi-Use Building Harmony Union School District Occidental CA $2.5M

The Salmon Creek Falls Environmental Center at Salmon Creek School was recognized with the 2007 Leroy F. Green Award of Honor from California’s Coalition for Adequate School Housing and the American Institute of Architects California Council. The Leroy F. Greene Design Awards are presented to projects that represent the best in public school design in California. The Environmental Center is also the first LEED Platinum public elementary school project in California.

  • Lagunitas Gymnasium
  • Lagunitas School District San Geronimo CA $2.4M
  • The new 10000 sf gymnasium includes a full size basketball court with maple sports floor and folding backboards. Also part of the building are a number of offices and an upstairs youth center. The project was partially funded with OPSC Joint Use funds.
  • Moreland School District Office Complex
  • Moreland School District San Jose CA $6.5M
  • This new 10000 sf District office and adjacent 11000 sf MOT building used a fast track design and construction methodology to take the project from initial conceptual design to occupancy in less than 14 months.
  • Parkside Intermediate School
  • San Bruno Park School District San Bruno CA $10M
  • Parkside Intermediate School housed grades 7-8th on an outdated campus. The new campus began construction in April of 2011 with the demolition of 12 existing classrooms. Twenty six new classrooms in a two story and a single story modular building were then constructed.
